IMPORTANT FEDERATION ANNOUNCEMENTS

Federation Sponsors Shotgun Class 2010

The Niagara County Federation of Conservation Clubs will be sponsoring a Shotgun Instructor Certification Class, slated for February 27 and 28, 2010. The two day seminar will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Class size is limited to just 10 students so don’t delay in registering. Cost is $150, with a non-refundable $75 deposit per student required by Feb. 6. Checks should be made out to NCFCC. If you have any questions, contact the coordinator of this session, Colleen Gaskill, at 439-1464. The first day of the seminar will be held at Cornell Cooperative Extension Niagara at 4487 Lake Avenue (Route 78), Lockport. The second day will be held at the North Forest Rod and Gun Club located at 6257 Old Niagara Road, Lockport. Be sure to bring your shotgun (12 or 20 gauge) to the second day session with at least 50 rounds of ammunition, ear and eye protection.

WILDLIFE FESTIVAL
The New York Power Authority [NYPA] in conjunction with the Niagara County Federation of Conservation [NCFCC]  Clubs, bring you the Wildlife Festival  each year at the NYPA grounds, Lewiston Road, Lewiston NY. A great Family function for the young & old. Demonstrations & all kinds of displays pertaining to the great outdoors. From live monkeys courtesy of the Primate Sanctuary, eagles, real fishing for the kids, bird trapping, food vendors and all this is FREE! Including FREE parking & handicap parking too.
Attendance at this Annual 2 Day Festival usually tops 20,000 visitors
