Along with the launch ramp replacement the fish grinder is being completely rebuilt with new blades etc.
The table will see improvements as you can see the old top is removed waiting to be replaced.

Someone was thinking here. Ramp and grinder getting done before the steelhead rush!

There are not many people that has seen the behind the scenes of a grinder. There are actually two heads
The first head is the one that crushes the bones and makes them smaller then the second one as in the picture
grinds everything in small flushable pieces and the is pumped to the disposal sewers.

Now you know what's behind that wall. The grinder has all been revamped. The repair technician said surprisingly it is in good shape. I told him it's a wonder for all the fish that  has gone through there!
