Yes, we all have to start "thinking outside of the box" You Charter captains that are responding here are truly the "elite" by being responsible fishermen and you guys are the veterans. I wish I knew what happened to the others. For those not familiar with the proposed regulations, I just posted on this website, what the proposals are. They are hard to find on the DEC site. I encourage you to read the proposal before you vote in the Opinion Poll. Also being affected with new regulations are Muskellunge, Rainbow/Steelhead, and Atlantic Salmon.
