The Niagara County Federation of Conservation Clubs will be holding the first annual Niagara County Clay Championship at the Tonawanda's Sportsman's Club in Pendleton on June 12th, so be sure to mark your calendars. This fun shoot will combine 25 sporting clays, 25 trap and 25 skeet birds to determine an overall champion. Shooting starts at 8:30 a.m. Cost is $50 per shooter, which includes lunch. Space is limited so sign up early. Proceeds from the competition will benefit the Federation through a variety of youth programs, including the 4-H Pheasant Rearing Program and DEC youth conservation camps.
