Federation Pig Roast is August 15th - The Niagara County Federation of Conservation Clubs will be holding what could be their biggest fundraiser ever. Set for August 15th, NCFCC will be holding a raffle with only 300 tickets being sold. Cost is $100 per ticket, which includes admission into the pig roast slated to be held at the Merchant's Building of the County Fairgrounds on Route 78 just north of Lockport. First prize will be a cool $10,000 in cash, followed by $3,000-$2,000-$1,000 for the next four winning slots. Fifth through 30th place will win $125 each. There will also be Chinese auction items and plenty to eat! The afternoon event will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. For more information, contact Don Dillon at 778-0555 or Gord Botting at 434-1563.
