Lockport is the place to be early morning Aug. 14 for women interested in learning more about the outdoors from expert presenters during a Women in the Outdoors program. Pam Lederhouse, event coordinator, has lined up course offerings in archery, bird dog training, firearms safety and shooting, maps and compass skills, and outdoor cooking. Women may select from these workshops, enjoy breakfast snacks and a lunch break during the 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. program. For details, call 791-3151.
