Senator John B. Daly

The Senator John B. Daly Memorial Charity Bass Classic is named in honor of the late Senator John B. Daly. Senator Daly was a avid outdoorsman and a great supporter outdoor people and their activities. He was an active participant in the Charity Bass Classic, serving as its distinguished Honorary Chairperson since its inception.

Proceeds generated from this event will be donated to Niagara Hospice Outreach Program ... Camp Hope ... overnight outdoor summer camp; and the Niagara Falls Boys and Girls Club ... "Summer Days in the Park" summer outdoor day camp.

Camp Hope

A co-ed outdoor overnight day camp for grieving children ages 7-13 years old. It is held at the Lockport YMCA's Camp Kenan on the shores of Lake Ontario in Barker, New York.

"Summer Days ... in the Park"

7 week summer outdoor day camp held at Hyde Park in Niagara Falls for boys & girls 11-14 years old. It features a "Wilderness Challenge" component, hiking, fishing, plant & tree identification and many other outdoor activities.

General Information

Enjoy a day of great bass fishing with an experienced angler on the scenic Niagara River and Lake Ontario at Fort Niagara State Park.

Bait & tackle, N.Y.S. fishing license (3 day) and snack packs will be provided.

Participants may enter as individuals or as a 2 or 3 member team.

The picnic and award presentation will the held at the
Officers Club at Ft. Niagara; includes a special awards presentation for youth entries.

Registration deadline is Tuesday, August 3rd.

A Picnic will be held at the 3F Club in Youngstown on Thursday, August 5th at 6pm. All boat captains, participants and volunteers are invited to attend, at no cost or obligation. (3F Club is located at 904 Swann Rd—Turn East on Swann from Creek Rd.)
