The Pioneer
\nConservation Sportsmen of Niagara County was founded in 1986
\nfrom an idea tendered by William Riley and Dick Robinson for
\nthe purpose of providing a daytime club and meeting time for

The aims and goals of the Pioneer Sportsmen are as
\nfollows; 
\n<\/b>1.) Discuss, research and document historic outdoor
\nstories. 
\n2.) Collect historic information, artifacts & pictures. 
\n3.) Develop periodic Pioneer newsletters. 
\n4.) Present educational programs on outdoor history of the
\narea to area youth and the general public. 
\n5.) Participate in educational events and shows. <\/p>\n

Since our formation we meet on the first Wednesday of the month at 9:30 AM at different locations, 
\nin the County. Generally at one of
\nthe many other County Sportsmen’s Clubs. See schedule
\nbelow. 
\nChristmas Meeting\/Party is at 10:30 AM. also Summer Picnic.<\/p>\n

\n<\/b>The Pioneers are comprised of mostly older Sportsmen of
\nNiagara County that remain active in their sport of choice and
\nremain as pillars of knowledge that they continue to share
\nwith others.  There is a continuing problem though,
\nbecause as members get along in years and fade away there is
\nnot a big line of people waiting to fill those empty shoes.
\nToday’s Pioneers play a vital role in incorporating their
\nwisdom gained from many years of experience and are more than
\nwilling to share their experiences with everyone. There are NO
\nage restrictions and younger heads are more than welcome.
\nYounger heads bring fresh ideas. Meetings are NEVER boring. <\/p>\n

Now days, in the growing need for more Sportsmen of getting
\nactive in preserving their sport, the Pioneers need a boost in
\nmembership. If you would like to join us, or even just if you
\nwant more information please email us and we’ll get right back
\nto you. Please state in your email headline

Every year the Pioneers send a youth to
\nthe New York DEC Conservation Camp. All fees paid by the
\nPioneer Club. The money is raised through fundraisers and
\nmembers going in their own pockets. Also each year the
\nPioneers attend the Niagara County Field Days and the Big
\nOutdoors event sponsored by the Niagara County Federation of Sportsmen’s
\nClubs in conjunction with the New York Power Authority in
\nSeptember.\n<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
