A little story about Johnston’s Restaurant. <\/b>We
\nare a four generation operation, established in 1933 by Will and Mary Johnston.
\nPrior to prohibition, Will and Mary ran the Porter Hotel from 1912 to 1917.
\nAbout 1942 Will & Mary’s son, Clifford ran the business.\u00a0 In 1965
\nClifford’s son Ronald joined the business and took over solely in 1967. In 1989
\nDale Johnston joined the business. Today Dale Johnston is the sole owner.
\nThrough the years Johnston’s has served the Ransomville area as a stop for
\nfarmers, construction workers and utility employees, as well as being a local
\ngathering spot where friends can socialize.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
